There are some outstanding hotel/casino resorts off the Las Vegas Strip. Some of these hotels are The Orleans, the Palms, The Rio, Hard Rock Casino, South Point Casino, Red Rock Casino, and Silverton to name a few.

Many of these resort have in house entertainment venues, most have multiple restaurant options available, many have bowling alley and cinema's also.

Make sure you look into some of these hotels as options from your normal Las Vegas vacation. Many times you will get more hotel/casino for your money. These hotels are at the most 15 minutes from the Strip. They are close to attractions such as Red Rock Canyon and Mount Charleston.
